Who handles your information

Information collected
When you enquire, we collect your name, email address, destination country, product links and descriptions, and any notes you provide. If you create an account, WordPress and WooCommerce store account details, password authentication information and any account or address details you choose to save. Shopping request records include quotes, correspondence, status and shipping references. We may request delivery details when necessary to arrange an agreed purchase.
Our hosting and mail services may process IP addresses, technical request logs and email delivery records for operation and security. The request form uses an IP-derived temporary counter to limit abuse. Do not submit payment card details, account passwords or sensitive personal information in the request form.
Why we use it
We use your information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, manage your account, arrange agreed purchases and delivery, send service updates, prevent misuse, resolve issues and maintain records. Where applicable data protection law requires a legal basis, this processing relates to steps requested before a contract, performance of an agreed service, legitimate operational and security interests, and relevant legal obligations. If essential contact or product information is not provided, we may be unable to handle the request.
Who receives it
Authorised Bonaeda staff can access requests. Hostinger provides website hosting and email services; the site uses WordPress, WooCommerce and Easy WP SMTP to manage accounts and send messages. Relevant order or delivery information may be shared with the seller, carrier or payment provider when needed for an agreed purchase. Do not assume an enquiry is already a paid order.
Pages also load fonts and scripts from external services, including Google Fonts and jsDelivr. Your browser may disclose technical connection information such as its IP address when requesting these resources.
Cookies and temporary drafts
WordPress and WooCommerce use cookies for login, security and shopping functionality. If you enter a shopping request, this tab may temporarily retain product details, destination and notes in session storage so you can continue after login. Drafts are restored only for up to two hours, cleared when a successful submission page loads, and are not shared between unrelated browser sessions. Your password is never stored in this draft.
Retention
Records are kept according to their purpose: to handle open enquiries and purchases, resolve follow-up issues and disputes, maintain account access and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. The appropriate period depends on whether an enquiry becomes a purchase and whether legal retention duties or an unresolved issue apply. There is no fixed automatic deletion period for all requests. You can ask us to review and delete information no longer needed. Backups can retain older copies until those backups are replaced or removed.
International processing
Bonaeda operates in Korea. Information may be processed in Korea and in locations used by hosting, email and other providers, which can differ from your country. Contact us for information about the providers and safeguards relevant to your request.
Access, correction and other requests
You can update account details after signing in. Email us to request access, correction or deletion of information, or to ask about restriction, objection or portability rights available under applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before acting. Guest enquiries are not automatically linked merely because the email address matches. After signing in, you may request a one-time verification link sent to your account email and explicitly confirm linking earlier guest enquiries made with that email. Links expire after 30 minutes; only a hash is stored for validation. We record the account, verified email and linking time to protect access and investigate issues. Existing payment orders and requests owned by another account are not transferred. You may also raise a concern with the data protection authority responsible for your location where that right applies.
Security and changes
We use HTTPS, authenticated account access and access controls for private requests. No online system can guarantee absolute security. Material changes to this notice will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Contact support@bonaeda.com if you have questions about how a change affects your information.
Optional website analytics
When enabled and with your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure public page visits and successfully saved requests. Google receives technical data such as browser/device information and IP-derived location and uses analytics cookies. We do not send names, email addresses, request text, product links, tracking numbers or order identifiers. Account and checkout pages are excluded. You may reject analytics or withdraw consent through Analytics preferences; your service request still works. Your preference is stored locally for up to six months. Data processing by Google may take place outside your country. Google privacy policy.
Request conversations and shipment tracking
Messages sent in your account are stored with your private request and are accessible to our support team. Staff replies may be emailed to your contact address. Shipment links open the carrier website, where its privacy policy applies. We do not publish your messages or shipment information.
